Bio:

Msgr. Eduardo Chávez is a priest of the Archdiocese of Mexico. He holds a doctorate in church history from the Pontifical Gregorian University and is co-founder and current CEO of the Institute of Guadalupan Studies (ISEG) in Mexico City. He also serves as a professor at the Pontifical University of Mexico and Canon of the Basilica of Guadalupe. Since his appointment as postulator of the cause of canonization of Saint Juan Diego, Msgr. Chávez has dedicated his life to the research of the historical sources of the Guadalupe event. After St. Juan Diego was canonized in July 2002 by St. John Paul II, he has devoted himself to the mission of spreading Our Lady’s maternal message inviting all mankind to unity in the mystical body of her Son.
