Walter Matthews

Walter Matthews is the former executive director for the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. He has served in various leadership positions in the Renewal for nearly 50 years. He presently serves on the CHARIS National Service of Communion USA. He also serves on the Steering Committee of the ecumenical Charismatic Leaders Fellowship and on the Catholic Ecclesial Movements and New Communities in the U.S. in Conversation (MovComUS). He served a six-year term as a member of the Pontifical Council for the Laity and a three-year term as an advisor to the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on the Laity.
