Bishop William Waltersheid

Most Reverend William John Waltersheid was born on November 18, 1956 in Ashland, Pennsylvania; ordained a priest of the Diocese of Harrisburg on July 11, 1992; appointed Titular Bishop of California and Auxiliary Bishop of Pittsburgh on February 15, 2011; consecrated on April 25, 2011; appointed Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and Secretary for Clergy and Consecrated Life on April 26, 2011; and appointed dean of the regional vicar of Vicariate 1 and chaplain to the Sisters of the Holy Spirit on September 21, 2017.
