Jose “JoeYam” Yamamoto

Jose “JoeYam” Yamamoto graduated magna cum laude in medicine and was awarded for academic excellence and as “Outstanding Intern for 1974.” It was in medical school where he met Mila, who would become his wife. JoeYam did the usual residencies in prestigious hospitals in Texas and Washington, DC, to further his training in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. JoeYam has received many awards, including the order of the Knight of St. Sylvester in 1999 from the Holy Father at the Vatican. He has served in Couples for Christ International Council for many years. He is currently chairman/president of this global community.
