Impact Session Emcee

Mother Gloria Therese Laven joyfully answered the Lord’s call to religious life in 1990 and entered the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. She attended the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN, for her undergraduate degree and Holy Apostles College in Cromwell, CT for her Master of Arts in Moral Theology. Mother Gloria Therese has served her community as Vocation Directress, Novice Directress, Retreat Directress and General Councilor. She has also served within the community’s apostolates of Education and Healthcare. Mother has served as the Superior General since March 2020 and she will continue serving in that role for another six years. She loves her Carmelite vocation, her community and the call to pray and sacrifice for Bishops and Priests.
