Breakout Session Speaker

Bio:

Yohan Garcia serves as the Catholic Social Teaching Education Manager for the Department of Justice, Peace, and Human Development at the USCCB. Yohan was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, and migrated to the U.S. in 2003. He earned his GED from Lehman College, an A.B.M. in business management from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, a B.A. in political science from Hunter College, and an M.A. in ethics and society from Fordham University. Yohan also serves as an adjunct faculty at the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University Chicago and as an advisor and trainer for the Catholic Rural Life Conference. Yohan speaks nationally on topics such as leadership development, social justice, immigration/migration, and Catholic Social Teaching.
